Purpose Built Communities is accelerating initiatives in a growing number of communities. Holistic revitalization can break the cycle of poverty and build the foundation for a healthy, sustainable community. In order to succeed, community leaders need effective strategies and partnerships. Purpose Built Communities helps leaders develop strong coalitions, prioritize critical work and accelerate their path to success. Purpose Built Communities provides technical assistance and coaching – always mindful of our promise to work with, not do for, local lead organizations. This approach strengthens the capacity of the local team, builds lasting local partnerships and accelerates results. Our Network Members connect not only to Purpose Built Communities but with one another. Through real and virtual meetings and seminars, community leaders develop relationships with others across the country so that they can share information, challenges and strategies. Purpose Built Communities is actively working with lead organizations in eight communities around the country, while exploring partnerships with nearly a dozen more. |
